Chapter Eleven: I Am Almost Home. . .

    'Just keep running, your almost there. You can do it Astrid. You are strong. You aren't Esther. You can do this.' Astrid though. But there was a voice inside her head that was telling her other wise. 'Astrid Hart, ha! You ran away from everything. You don't deserve happiness, you deserve to rot along side your father!'  
    Her knees buckled, and she fell to the cold ground. Tears streamed down her face, as she attempted to get back up before Unit Red found her. She was bruised, bloody, battered and . . . Broken. Glancing up at the blue sky, she saw the familiar house. Ship Manor. Getting up, Astrid limped her way over to the drive, and stumbled up the gravel drive way. Heading home.
